In today’s episode we are feeling a little in over our heads as we attempt to figure out where to focus our efforts on the build. Is it more important to install our chimney pipe first or start on our window installation? We decide to focus on our wood stove and chimney installation first, but we are met with a few errors that make it so we have to stop our chimney project. First, we find out that the hole in our roof for our stove flashing is not big enough for our chimney box, so that means we have to remove our flashing and cut the hole in our roof to a bigger size. Then we find out that we bought the wrong size stove pipe! This halts our chimney project completely. We shift to learning how to install our windows, and we install the first window in our house! We’re one step closer to being completely dried in.
